J&J is a modern view of the classic mortar, traditionally used for preparation of italian pesto. The block contains 2 mortars, the larger one in Bianco Carrara marble for medium quantity crushed ingredients, while the smaller mortar in black Portoro (fine vein) marble for the pulverization of salt, pepper, etc.
The pictures are merely indicative. As all the natural products also marble has unique and unrepeatable colours and veins, therefore any kind of tonality variations or other, are things considered inherent in the nature of marble.
We will provide some pictures of the product before it is shipped to you.
The indicated sizes may slightly change as the product is an hancrafted finished by hand.

Warnings
This product must not be used in the oven or microwave is not dishwasher safe. To avoid permanent stains, we suggest to clean with a soft cloth, clean water and Ph neutral soap just after the use.
The marbles have been treated with fila surface care solutions product that is safe for food contact. (FILA SOLUTIONS)
